Why Ascent exists.

The pathway into Spanish football doesn't really exist for foreign players. Most programmes are built for tourists: a week of drills, a highlight reel, a certificate, and you're back home with a story to tell.

Ascent is the opposite. Four weeks inside the real system, on the pitches professional clubs use for pre-season, with coaches who've worked in Spanish professional football, in an environment that shows you where you genuinely stand.

Valencia sits in one of the densest pockets of professional football in Europe. Multiple La Liga clubs within 90 minutes, dozens of Segunda and Tercera sides within the region, and a development culture that treats 16 to 23 as the make-or-break years. It's where Spanish kids are scouted, trialled, and signed. It's the right room to be in.

The weeks have a rhythm. Morning training on pro-standard pitches, afternoon technical or tactical work, matches on the weekend against local Spanish sides. Video reviewed every week. Honest one-on-one feedback from coaches who've actually worked in the system. By week three you stop noticing the jump in intensity. That's the point.

Everything off the pitch gets handled: transfers, full board, accommodation, on-site tutor, medical support, nutrition, and recovery. You arrive and focus on the football.

Clubs don't sign players they've never seen. Our job is to put you on the pitches where professional football actually happens, with coaches whose feedback counts. You leave knowing exactly where you stand. What you do with that is up to you.
